The Hideout accumulates about 3,000 Black Angus cows, while 250 horses graze a combination of private property, National Forest at altitudes ranging between 4,200 to 10,000 feet, and BLM lands.  Combined with the century-old Flitner Ranch in Shell, there are over 250,000 acres to explore.

The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch also offers fully furnished Ranch Homes for the ultimate experience. The Hideout Homes are located across from the Hideout’s main property. They are designed in western-style log homes comprising two master suites with large bathrooms, private decks, walk-in showers and furnished designer kitchens with granite countertops and hardwood floors.

The Hideout’s kitchen follows western dining tradition. Dining is under the supervision of Trapper Creek Lodge & Supper Club. The chefs value each guest and fulfill their personalized dietary needs to satisfaction. Cocktail hour is a guest favorite.
