Eatons’ ranch is located on slopes of the Bighorn Mountains in northeastern Wyoming. It is a wonderful ranch surrounded by pine forests. Just 18 miles west of Sheridan, the ranch spreads across 7,000 acres and is surrounded by beautiful meadows, breathtaking views of valleys, and rolling hills. The consecutive presence of cottonwoods and pine trees mark the falling streams as they meander from the mountains.

Eaton’s ranch has been serving their guest for over 135 years by offering western experiences unlike any other. For five generations this ranch has welcomed guests, offering tradition and heritage in addition to beautiful country.

Eaton’s ranch offers many activities to enjoy during your stay.

• Eaton’s ranch offers Horseback riding. It has 200 horses from which to select. This is an excellent opportunity for the guest to explore 7,000 acres of this remarkable country.
• The ranch also offers multi-day rides through Bighorn National Forest. Meals are packed in and cooked on the trail.
• Eaton’s has a swimming pool and offers softball games, mountain biking, hiking, horseshoes, volleyball, ping pong weekly dances, and fishing
• Three golf courses are also situated at a short drive, where you can practice your drive.
• The ranch also offers a Child’s Program and babysitting services so that you can enjoy your vacation without the little ones as time permits.

Accommodations

Dude ranch accommodations offer 51 cabins and guest rooms of different sizes that accommodate all, whether you are a large family, couple, or single traveler. We have decorated and furnished rooms in the western style. Most rooms consist of twin beds with attached baths for two people.

During the winter, the ranch offers B&B-style getaways, including lodging and breakfast the following morning.

Food

There is a dining room located in the ranch’s center in which all the meals are served to the guests at regular hours. We also offer a variety of fruits, cereals, and muffins for all day snacks. The dude ranch serves lunch in the form of a buffet or open-air barbecue. This dude ranch chef offers their guests two entrees and specializes in fun, nutritious food for the kids. Saturday night is barbecue night. The ranch staff can accommodate dietary restrictions of all types with advanced notice.
